How to Rotate and Reorder PDF Pages for Free

A scan that came out sideways, or pages that ended up in the wrong order after feeding a stack through a scanner — both are common, and both are quick to fix without any software installation.

  1. Open the Rotate & Reorder tool

Go to the Rotate & Reorder page. No account, no software to install.

  2. Add your PDF file

Drag and drop it onto the page, or click “Browse files”. Every page appears as a thumbnail you can work with directly.

  3. Rotate any page that needs it

Click the rotate icon on a page's thumbnail — each click turns that page another 90°. Pages rotate independently, so a mixed-orientation scan can be fixed page by page.

  4. Reorder pages if needed

Use the up and down arrows on each thumbnail to move it earlier or later in the document.

  5. Download the result

Click “Download”. The rotated and reordered PDF is built directly in your browser.

Frequently asked questions

Does rotating a page reduce its quality?
No — rotation only changes the page's display orientation (a property PDF readers respect), it doesn't re-render or re-compress the page's content.
Can I rotate just one page and leave the others as they are?
Yes, each page's rotation is set independently — rotating one page doesn't affect any other.
Can I delete a page here?
This tool only rotates and reorders — it never removes pages. To extract or remove pages, use the Split PDF tool instead.
