Privacy policy
Your files
PDF Swiss processes every file locally, in your own browser. Nothing you open, merge, split, compress or convert is ever sent to, or stored on, our servers. Once you close or reload the page, the files are gone from memory.
What stays on your device
Two things can be kept in your browser's own storage, on your device only — never on our servers: the signature you draw in the Sign PDF tool, so you can reuse it (the “Clear” button deletes it), and the text-recognition language model the OCR PDF tool downloads from our server, so it isn't downloaded again next time. Neither contains your documents. You can delete both at any time in your browser's site data settings.
Analytics
We use a privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics tool to understand overall traffic and which tools are used most. It does not track individuals across sites and does not collect personal data or the content of your files.
Accounts and cookies
PDF Swiss does not require an account and does not use tracking or advertising cookies.
